Remote Monitoring and Control:
Remotely control and monitor the extensive features of your BlueSolar MPPT charger by attaching a Bluetooth dongle and pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the internet with a GX device, the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) provides access to the full power of your MPPT, anytime, anywhere. Both VictronConnect and VRM are free to use. For remote installations, even without an internet connection nearby, you may be able to monitor your MPPT by connecting the GlobalLink 520.

Bluetooth Smart built-in:
The wireless solution for setting up, monitoring, updating, and synchronizing SmartSolar Charge Controllers.

Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT):
In cases of cloudy skies with changing light intensity, an ultra-fast MPPT controller can improve energy harvest by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.

Advanced Maximum Power Point Detection in Partial Shading Conditions

When partial shading occurs, multiple maximum power points (MPPs) may exist on the power-voltage curve. Traditional MPPT algorithms tend to lock to a local MPP, which may not be the optimal one. In contrast, the innovative SmartSolar algorithm ensures optimal energy harvest by consistently locking to the optimal MPP.

Exceptional Conversion Efficiency

No cooling fan is required, and the maximum efficiency exceeds 98%.

Flexible Charge Algorithm

The charge algorithm is fully programmable (refer to the software page on our website) and offers eight preprogrammed algorithms, selectable via a rotary switch (see the manual for details).

Comprehensive Electronic Protection

Over-temperature protection, power derating when the temperature rises, PV short circuit protection, and PV reverse polarity protection are all included. Additionally, PV reverse current protection is provided.

Internal Temperature Sensor

The sensor compensates for absorption and float charge voltage variations caused by temperature.

Optional External Battery Sensing

Bluetooth can be used to connect a Smart Battery Sense, a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor, or a SmartShunt to one or more SmartSolar Charge Controllers. This allows for communication of battery voltage, temperature (and current, in case of a BMV 712 or a SmartShunt), to the controllers.

Synchronized Parallel Charging with Bluetooth

Up to 10 units can be synchronized with Bluetooth for simultaneous charging.

Fully Discharged Battery Recovery Function

The controller will initiate charging even if the battery has been discharged to zero volts. It will also reconnect to a fully discharged Li-ion battery with an integrated disconnect function.

VE.Direct

A wired data connection is available for a Color Control GX, other GX products, a PC, or other devices.
