Remote Monitoring and Control: Attach a Bluetooth dongle to your BlueSolar MPPT charger and pair it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the internet with a GX device, you’ll gain access to the full power of your MPPT through the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM), which is free to use. For remote installations without an internet connection nearby, you can still monitor your MPPT by connecting the GlobalLink 520.

Advanced Maximum Power Point Detection in Partial Shading Conditions
When partial shading occurs, multiple maximum power points (MPPs) may exist on the power-voltage curve. Traditional MPPT algorithms tend to lock to a local MPP, which may not be the optimal one. In contrast, the innovative SmartSolar algorithm consistently maximizes energy harvest by locking to the optimal MPP.

Flexible Charge Algorithm
The charge algorithm is fully programmable (refer to the software page on our website) and offers eight preprogrammed algorithms, selectable via a rotary switch (see the manual for details).
Comprehensive Electronic Protection
Over-temperature protection, power derating when temperatures rise, PV short circuit protection, and PV reverse polarity protection are all included. Additionally, PV reverse current protection is provided.
Internal Temperature Sensor
The internal temperature sensor compensates for absorption and float charge voltage variations caused by temperature.
Optional External Battery Sensing
Bluetooth can be used to connect a Smart Battery Sense, BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor, or SmartShunt to one or more SmartSolar Charge Controllers, allowing for communication of battery voltage, temperature (and current, in case of a BMV 712 or a SmartShunt), and other relevant information.
Synchronized Parallel Charging with Bluetooth
Up to 10 units can be synchronized with Bluetooth for simultaneous charging.
Fully Discharged Battery Recovery Function
The controller will initiate charging even if the battery has been discharged to zero volts. It can also reconnect to a fully discharged Li-ion battery with an integrated disconnect function.
VE.Direct
A wired data connection can be established with a Color Control GX, other GX products, a PC, or other devices using VE.Direct.
Remote On/Off
The controller can be connected to a VE.BUS BMS for remote on/off control.
Programmable Relay
The relay can be programmed to trigger an alarm or other events.
Optional: SmartSolar Pluggable LCD Display
To install the display, simply remove the rubber seal protecting the plug on the front of the controller and plug it in.
