In the process George removed all of the unnecessary wiring and switches from the old system and more importantly corrected a fault others couldn’t find. We are now all safe and sound. Quality of work was excellent
Purchased a Satfi Satellite dome last year. Very pleased with the purchase. They fitted it at there factory in the morning while we waited. Quality of work was excellent and the TV signal covers me anywhere in the UK and Europe as far as Lisbon. When I setup the TV now it takes 2 minutes for the dish to find a signal and we have a perfect picture anywhere. Would not hesitate to recommend them for your satellite installation.

We would just like to say that our Sat dish system you fitted 16 months ago is still performing perfectly. We are down in deepest Portugal at the moment, 16th Jan 19.

I had an Oyster 5 fitted and a MIPV solar panel. The roof on a Burstner 586 is not massive and they did a brilliant job working out where everything had to go in such a small and bendy space. Carl did a brilliant job of the fitting. I bought just before the ‘new’ Avtex TV came out and instead of selling me one of their current TV’s George said wait until the Birmingham NEC as there was a new model coming out! How brilliant. We bought the TV at the NEC and went back to their workshop later to have a free-view switch wired in as well as the SKY box they fitted previously. No extra charge. Needed advice in Italy – texted George and bingo he was straight back even though he was on holiday in Turkey. Bumped into them at the Norfolk show and a slight education problem for me was sorted by Daniel. Great.

I would like to add my opinion of S & G, we purchased a new satellite system at the Motorhome show in Norwich this weekend, and having been messed around and lied to by some other companies, what a pleasure doing business with a company who really do know what their talking about, give you honest advice, great service, having ordered ( but not paid for ) our new system.

The guys turned up on site next day and fitted the system to our motorhome in less than 2 hours, such a neat and tidy professional job you could not ask for more, Paid for it upon satisfactory installation. Teleco satellite system
George and Dan fitted a Teleco Smartsat system to my motorhome in May and, when the original arrangements couldn’t take place due to unforeseen circumstances, they were extremely helpful in rearranging another date/time. The fitting went really smoothly and I am perfectly happy with the advice originally given as to which system to buy and the expert fitting service. Ordered a Oister V with icecrypt box and Avtex tv at the NEC show last October. S&G kept the items until we returned from Spain in June. George and Carl did a first class job hiding all the wires.

I bought a second tv and they twinned it with the first tv and took the time to configure the TVs and explained how the system worked. I’ve oyster replaced a maxview satellite that oscillated after a year and kept loosing the signal. When I compare the workmanship of S&G to the maxview installation there was no comparison. S&G are the best you will get in my opinion as a retired senior engineer. I also ordered a WiFi signal booster from S&G after they price matched including delivery. Can’t praise them highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone wanting a first class installation and service. I can thoroughly recommend S&G Home Leisure after fitting our Oyster V Satellite Dish and Icecrypt Box. We were invited to arrive on the evening previous to the work being carried out and provided with an Electric Hook up.

In the morning George drove us to Woburn and duly picked us up when the work was completed. Daniel then spent the best part of an hour explaining where he had run the necessary cables, ensuring we were satisfied with the work and comfortable with the controls and operation. Because of the hour and the distance we had travelled we stayed another night and played around with the new system. A thoroughly professional outfit who carry out their work to an extremely high level.
South of Spain no issues
If you are fed up with poor workmanship and lack of care then these guys are a breath of fresh air. Nothing is too much trouble very friendly and clean tidy workers, who take pride in what they do which is such a rarity within the motorhome industry. An oyster skew system fitted to our Autosleeper and all clearly explained. Icecrypt box and sky worked fine all the way through France and as far south as Malaga Spain. Thanks again, a very happy customer I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will certainly use again if we require any thing else done.

Having booked our motorhome in at S & G we drove down to their Woburn centre on the day through horrendous rain (gutted I had just polished my motorhome from top to bottom) however we were given an extremely warm welcome and the team got to work drying our roof out not an easy task, George dropped us in Woburn and we were duly picked up when the work was completed, a superb handover with full demonstration of how everything worked we also had a Wi-Fi 4G system fitted very useful, I cannot recommend S & G enough they went over and above with a fantastic service treated our motorhome like their own great team & service.

I would just like to say a big thank you to S@G Satellites for there first class job fitting a new satellite system to my Dakota, the job turned out to be more difficult than previously thought especially removing the old hand cranked system. The guys did a first rate job making every effort into hiding all the cables, and fitting the new control system in the most logical and convenient place. Once finished they gave me in-depth instructions on how the whole system operates including the updates.
And also let me stay the night outside there unit on hook up. I would definitely recommend there work to anyone, I am very happy with my new toy.

Simplifying Satellite System
We were struggling to use fully our satellite system and brought our motorhome to S&G who replaced the Maxview box with an Icecrypt and patiently explained how to use it correctly. The service provided by Daniel was excellent who even spent time in tidying up cables which had been installed by a different company. I cannot praise their work and efficiency enough and we would certainly recommend their service.

I was more than happy with the fitting to our motorhome, apart from a small mishap for the fitter, then continued to be impressed as everything worked all the way to our holiday home in Perpignan on the border with Spain. We then travelled through Spain and into Morocco, where, every time we stopped, we had fingers crossed for it still to work – AND IT DID, all the way to Agadir which is about on the same latitude as Lanzarotte! More than happy to recommend the system and the company.

Just had a 4G aerial fitted to our motorhome – the guys treated the motorhome like it was their own, spent time working out the best site for the MiFi dongle, the routing of the wires and the siting of the aerial itself. I have been looking to get a satellite dish fitted for some while now and was very impressed their experience and understanding of my requirements when I discussed the options with S&G. I arranged to have the (free) fitting at their unit at Hockliffe, which is local to me, and the system was duly installed very professionally by their team (a fitter working on the roof, another working on the internals and a software specialist setting up the system). We also had been visited by a rat which had chewed through a load of wires including the reversing camera and George sorted this out despite Autotrail telling him the back of the van would have to come off to sort it which would have been £**,***!!!! George managed to put a new one in and sort out the wiring for a fraction of the cost and you can’t tell they have even been in the van. We had it fitted before Christmas and didn’t get chance to use it, so forgot all the instructions but rang George and he talked us through it all very patiently. Superb service and highly recommend them.

All work was carried out by George and his team to very high standard and the handover demonstration was very thorough even I understood how to work the system. I have to say S&G were firstly the most competitive with the cheapest price, in addition were very informative with excellent product knowledge. To their credit the two guys had an excellent manner and nothing was a problem. I paid a deposit and within days was contacted for an installation date. Prior to fitting the team listened to my requirements, the system was duly fitted earlier than the suggested timescale. A full demonstration and user input was given. The fitting was absolutely perfect. Well done guys, outstanding. If you want a sat system this is the place to go 10/10.

There was no pressure to buy but when we went to the Shepton Mallet show recently we met up again and purchased a system. As the weather can be difficult at this time of year we took George up on his offer to travel to their workshop and stayed overnight in our motorhome alongside the Christmas turkeys. George and team did a superb job. The trouble they took fitting everything into our new motorhome was exemplary with no cutting of corners just to get the job done. When finished there was no evidence that they had ever been there. We were then given a set-up and operation briefing to clearly explain how everything worked, together with the assurance that if we needed any further help they were only a phone call away. A job very well executed. I would highly recommend them for anyone considering purchasing a satellite system.
Worth the wait!
We wanted the new Oyster V system for our motorhome, to arrive in UK in Spring 2017. It had not arrived for March and April – in Andalucia, but was supplied and fitted in time for the summer holidays – and it received Astra 2 down to Carcassonne and Le Lavandou – from the Manche to the Med! Worth the wait.

Teleco Satellite
S&G originally fitted a Teleco Satellite system to our motorhome at our home in North Wales. Worked late into the evening and did a great job. Satellite system was transferred to our new motorhome by the dealer as part of a package. A couple of days later we had some issues and the dealer pretty quickly washed his hands of the problem . Not quite what we expected having bought a new German A class motorhome from them. So it was George and Co to the rescue. A trip to Luton and all our problems fixed and some additional cabling added. Oyster V in Spain
George and the lads did a great job setting up our system which has worked well all through France. When we arrived here in Spain the system’s own wifi packed in. I called George and he walked me through a solution. It seems the camps own wifi interfered with the satellite system. We had to re set the channels and now we have our brill system again. The system remains just brilliant and the after care by George was second to none. I would completely recommend this company their attention to detail and customer care, top notch!!

When you buy an expensive item you expect the best, both in the item & the sales & support. On all counts I can state that George & Carl of S&G deliver – & then some!

That happens, but from hundreds of miles away George was an oasis of calm & although the problem couldn’t be fixed there & then the reassurance was there that it would be resolved upon my return to the UK. “Only a couple of weeks until I go again”…(wail). No problem was the S&G response & sure as their word 5 days after my return they were there, rain was no deterrent. As things worked out a new system was needed, S&G came with a full system ready – no waiting for parts (how often does that happen?) & they worked through the weather to get it all replaced – only for the sun to come out as they finished. That’s going over above & beyond – so if you like what they sell give them a try, I doubt you’ll regret it, you’ll struggle to do…

We chose S&G after talking to them at Peterborough show. On the day for the installation we were met by George who quickly investigated the best way to fit the satellite and its controls and following our agreement we were taken to Woburn for a walk round. Three hours later we were picked up and returned to our motorhome. When I first entered our van I was amazed, apart from the control panel it was impossible to see that it had been fitted as all the wiring had been cleverly concealed. George then gave me a comprehensive talk through on how it all worked. I would fully recommend S&G as their workmanship is exceptional as is their knowledge of the systems they fit.

Just this very day I had the new Oyster V satellite dish fitted by the three amigos …George, Carl and Daniel at their workshop. Impressive setup with a very well equipped and tidy workshop the size of a very large barn. Thoroughly impressed from arrival to departure, made to feel very welcome as they set about their work which was faultless and completed with great care and attention…not a stray cable in sight !. In George’s words ” we work on a van as if it is our own'” which for me speaks volume for their work ethic. I also felt very entertained with George’s banter throughout, he is a larger than life character !. We met George at the Caravan & Motorhome show at Detling in Kent. We arranged for the Oyster dish to be changed from an old van to a new one. We subsequently went to his workshop for this to be done and were very impressed on the cleanliness and efficiency on all the work done. They are a great
